The INSIGHT M6X Tactical Laser Pistol Illuminator (M6X000A3) is a compact, lightweight, visible illuminator that emits a highly concentrated beam of visible light for acquisition and identification of targets. The M6X may be equipped with either a visible aiming laser, or an infrared aiming laser for use with night vision devices.
The mode switch can be set to "off", which turns off both the white light and the laser. Setting the switch to "vis" prepares the laser for activation. Setting the switch to "ill" prepares the M6 for the white light to be turned on. Or, if you want both the white light and the laser to be activated, set the switch to "vis/ill".
The laser is adjustable for windage and elevation by use of a simple allen wrench.
The shock suppression system on the M6X keeps the powerful 125 lumen lamp shining no matter how rough you treat it.
You activate the laser and/or white light on the M6X by a rear rocker switch that's conveniently located just forward of the trigger guard on your pistol. Whether you're left or right handed, all you need to do is move the switch up or down with the trigger finger of either hand. The switch has two positions: momentary or constant.
The Insight M6X light is also focusable, letting you adjust it to a broad beam or to a very narrow beam of light. Extra filters are available for the M6X, including an infrared filter for use with night vision equipment.
The Tactical Laser Pistol Illuminator comes with a remote pressure switch that attaches to the foregrip of your rifle or shotgun. A four-inch wire runs from the switch to the rear backplate of the M6X, allowing you to mount the switch in the position that's most accessible for you.
Fits AR15's, Beretta CX4, Sig 556, and other rifles with 1913/Picatinny rails. Benelli, Remington and other shotguns require the use of a shotgun magazine tube adapter, which is available from Insight or from us.
