The LEUPOLD MX-001 Flashlight Tail Switch (64645) is an integral part of the modular MX flashlight system. Milled from solid, T-6061 aerospace-grade aluminum, the MX-001 Tail Switch gives you dual mode performance: constant on or momentary activation.
The 1/8th turn lockout feature ensures your MX flashlight won’t be activated accidentally, extending battery life. Even in lockout position, your MX flashlight will retain its waterproof integrity.
Aggressive knurling and easy-to-operate controls make the MX-001 ideal for use in a wide variety of environmental conditions. Even in wet or cold weather, hands won't slip, controls are easy to reach and operate, and flashlight balances easily in the hand.
MX Modular Flashlights follow a simple naming convention. Each Bezel, Maintube, and Tail Switch component has a three-digit part number. When the flashlight components are pieced together to form a flashlight, those part numbers create the name. The first digit in the name represents the Bezel, the second represents the Maintube, and the third is the Tail Switch. For example, the MX-421 consists of a MX-400 Bezel, MX-020 Maintube, and MX-001 Tail Switch. The MX-131 would be a MX-100 Bezel, MX-030 Maintube, and MX-001 Tail Switch.
