The Digital camera has two types of memory capacity: internal memory and optional SD memory card. SD card will override internal memory. This camera will accept up to a 4 GB card. Maximum pictures stored is 7600.
The D-40 imprints time, date and camera ID on every photo or video. It operates on 6 D-cell batteries (sold separately).
