USNV PVS-7-CS Night Vision Goggles (Photonis-DEP)

The USNV PVS-7 Com Spec Night Vision Goggle is the standard issue goggle supplied to the U.S. Military and its allies. With the use of a single high definition image tube and a dual eye configuration, the USNV PVS-7 provides an outstanding performance-to-cost ratio.

The USNV PVS-7 Night Vision Goggles feature simple user controls and fully automated image tube protection. This system allows the user to have complete freedom of movement while maintaining equilibrium and balance in a hands free application.

This PVS-7 Night Vision Goggle also incorporates an infrared illuminator with a momentary and continuous on switching function. Infrared operation and low battery indicators are displayed within the user‘s field of view.

The USNV PVS-7 Night Vision Goggles come complete with a lightweight, fully adjustable military head strap that allows for comfortable long-term use. A wide range of optional accessories include high magnification lenses, compass, infrared spot/flood lens and helmet mounting bracket for PASGT or MICH helmets.

The Photonis-DEP Com spec Image Intensifier is a commercial grade variant of the wellknow Photonis-DEP Super Hi-Definition tube. The Photonis-DEP CS technology combines the sensitivity of the Super Hi-Def Intensifier with upgraded Resolution and Modular Transfer function. These improvements produce a much higher contrast in the image. Other strong attributes of the Photonis-DEP CS Image Intensifier are that it is sensitive in a wide spectral band thus providing superior contrast in all lighting conditions and that no burning occurs in very bright levels. The Photonis-DEP CS Image Intensifier has been tested to 15,000 user hours.

The Photonis-DEP CS Image Intensifier is characterized by a typical Signal-to-noise ration of 16:1 as well as a minimum fixed resolution of 45-51 lp/mm. The Photonis-DEP CS Image Intensifier can also be supplied in almost every mechanical construction which makes it compatible with both old and new style night vision systems: night vision monoculars, night vision binoculars, night vision goggles.
