Whistler DE-1788 Cordless Radar Detector also offers a blue backlit
Text Display. The display is configurable, and the back-light can be setup to change the brightness setting when an alert is received. This model also offers
3 City Modes to reduce false alerts, and supports disabling any band through the
"Selectable Bands" feature.
The
Whistler DE-1788 Cordless Radar Detector responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides
360 Degree Detection of all types of laser guns laser. The
Whistler DE-1788 Radar Detector is immune to the
VG-2 Detector, and provides alerts when
VG-2 is in use. The alpha-numeric display allows for full support of
Safety Alerts, including detailed information messages. Support for
Whistler's
Stay Alert feature is included as well.
