Whistler XTR-185 Cordless Laser/Radar Detector is an unique rechargeable
Cordless Radar Detector. It is equipped with a
Solar Panel which assists in charging the battery, which means that you can expect slightly better battery life than with similar models (estimated 17 hour battery life). If the
Solar Panel is not enough, the
XTR-185 has a built-in charger, which lets you charge the batteries by plugging into a normal 12 volt plug.
This
Whistler Solar Powered Radar Detector will detect
POP mode radar and it supports
3 City Modes to help eliminate
False Alerts. The
Icon Display is bright and easy to read, and can be dimmed or turned off entirely. The
Whistler XTR-185 is also equipped with a selectable auto shut off feature, which can prevent dead batteries.

Whistler XTR-185 Cordless Laser/Radar Detector responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns laser. This
Whistler Solar Powered Radar Detector is immune to the
VG-2 Alert, and provides alerts when
VG-2 is in use. Support for
Whistler's
Stay Alert feature is included as well.
